Donation Request: Student Pocket Constitutions
The Bill of Rights Institute (BRI) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization working with teachers and students to teach civics. The BRI is looking to partner with the printing industry to put America's founding documents into the hands of students via pocket constitutions. These portable booklets contain the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence.
BRI receives requests for these pocket constitutions from teachers across the nation. This is a great way to show the power of print while educating students on the ideals that helped found our country.
Booklet details include:
- Finished size - 3.5 x 5
- Requested Stock: Cover - 80#, gloss; Pages - 50#
- Page # - 56 pages plus color, full bleed cover
- Binding - Saddle Stitched
There are approximately 8,000 booklet requests across Georgia, however one printer is not required to print all copies. If you prefer, you may donate printing for a certain number and/or certain area (i.e. schools within your county).
All donations are tax-deductible, and donors will be recognized by the BRI. If you are interested in donating printing, binding, and/or supplies, please reach out to Jennie at PIAG for more information.
